Architects Without Borders  (ASF in its Spanish initials) is a Non-Governmental Development Organization founded in 1992 and declared a public utility in 1999. ASF works with independence from any politic, religious and economic criteria and it’s integrated by people that believe in defending human rights to achieve a more just world, through the universal access to a decent housing to achieve social transformation.

We work within the framework of the Millennium Development Goals, especially in relation to overcoming the causes of poverty and improving education, gender equality, health and environmental quality, regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

ASF is a member of the NGOs Coalition for Development from Spain, and the regional coordinators of Euskadi, Navarre, Galicia, Extremadura, Catalonia, Valencia, Aragon and Madrid.  It belongs to the Platform 2015 and More Organization, Habitat international Coalition and ASF International Network, an international network that coordinates the ASF in different countries.
